The THC-D821IRP is an 8.0 megapixel TVI / CVI / AHD / CVBS eyeball camera, equipped with powerful EXIR LEDs and a high-resolution 2.7-13.5mm motorized zoom megapixel lens with auto-focus. To withstand even the most adverse environmental conditions, the camera is housed in a weather-resistant casing, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor installation.

The powerful EXIR 2.0 LEDs provide significantly better illumination in darkness up to a range of 60m. Other features of this outdoor camera include 130dB Wide Dynamic Range. With Wide Dynamic Range, objects that would normally only appear overexposed or darkened in an image can be rendered clearly in both bright and dark areas.

With its 2.7-13.5mm megapixel motorized zoom lens and progressive scan image sensor, this eyeball camera covers significantly larger areas without compromising image quality. The 4-in-1 technology enables the high-resolution video signal to be transmitted directly to the TVI / CVI / AHD / CVBS recorder via coaxial cable over distances of up to 300m (RG59) or 500m (RG6). The camera offers convenient access to the on-screen menu via the existing coaxial cabling. All menu functions are controlled and set via a TVI / CVI / AHD / CVBS recorder or a corresponding control unit.

Extreme temperature fluctuations are also no problem for this 4-in-1 dome camera. It operates without interruption in both very cold and very hot temperatures, from -40°C to +60°C. To protect against dust, sand, and unfavorable weather conditions such as rain and snow, this eyeball camera is housed in an IP67 weather-resistant casing.

4K UltraHD resolution - 4 times better than Full HD
This camera records in 4K UHD - which is 4 times better than Full HD. With this groundbreaking high resolution, you can see details that would be lost forever in lower quality. Even in huge crowds, you can spot the smallest details such as individual faces and license plates, ensuring full surveillance even of expansive areas.

Wide Dynamic Range 130dB
The ability of a camera to deliver optimal images under extreme lighting conditions is known as Wide Dynamic Range. Especially in situations with strong backlighting, the WDR function is mandatory if images are to be captured without localized overexposure. In combination with the high-performance progressive scan CMOS sensor, this TVI camera features an excellent Wide Dynamic Range function with a high dynamic range. Thanks to advanced WDR technology, images no longer appear color-distorted, but impress with sensationally good color reproduction and the prevention of motion blur.

Motorized lens with zoom and focus function
A motorized zoom lens significantly simplifies the installation and commissioning of the camera. The tedious task of adjusting the lens directly on the camera is eliminated; instead, it is sufficient to point the camera in the desired direction and then conveniently adjust the motorized zoom lens from the recorder. Changing the focal length to suit requirements can be done just as easily and conveniently at a later time.

4-in-1 technology: TVI / CVI / AHD / CVBS
High Definition video over coax. TVI / CVI / AHD transmits a nearly latency-free 8.0MP 4K video signal via RG59 coaxial cable. All Neostar 4-in-1 cameras and recorders offer the advantages of extremely high video resolution, yet can be installed and commissioned as easily as standard analog surveillance systems. The possibility of significantly longer cable runs is also a major advantage of TVI / CVI / AHD systems. These can be used at distances of up to 500m (RG6) / 300m (RG59) from TVI / CVI / AHD recorders.

Smart IR
With Smart IR, clear and sharp images are produced even in low-light conditions. Smart IR (Smart Infrared) automatically adjusts the amount of infrared light used to illuminate a scene. Depending on how close an object moves toward the camera, the infrared illumination is increased or reduced in order to produce an optimal image for as long as possible.

Day/Night (ICR)
Neostar cameras with the Day/Night (ICR) function deliver sharp images even in poor lighting conditions and at night. During the day, the IR cut filter blocks infrared light to produce accurate color images. In poor lighting conditions and at night, the filter is removed, allowing infrared light to pass through to deliver razor-sharp, well-defined black-and-white images.

On-screen menu control via coax
Easy control of HD-TVI on-screen menu settings via coax. This camera offers a user-friendly on-screen menu adjustment feature via existing coaxial cabling, eliminating the need to lay an additional data cable. Control and settings can be realized with any Neostar HD-TVI recorder.

3-axis camera mount
This camera can be effortlessly mounted on ceilings and walls. It features an integrated 3-axis camera mount, allowing for flexible installation in numerous indoor and outdoor locations.

Outdoor use even in extreme temperatures
The camera was specifically developed for outdoor use in extreme temperatures. Integrated heating elements, which only switch on at appropriate temperatures, allow the camera to be used at -40° to +60°C.
