The BHR-4116C hybrid recorder is a professional surveillance solution that integrates seamlessly into any existing security architecture with 16 channels for Analog HD cameras up to 5 MP TVI or 1080p AHD & CVI, and 8 channels for IP cameras up to 4MP. Recordings are compressed using H.264. Two hard drives of up to 8TB each can be installed (16TB total). The iSmartVideo app (for Android and iOS) connects to the recorder via P2P and provides access to saved recordings and live camera images.

A user-friendly CMS allows for the interconnection and control of multiple recorders via Mac and PC; the web client allows the recorder to be operated via the internet without the need to install additional software. SMARTsearch finds relevant events in the recordings quickly and efficiently by searching for occurrences exclusively in a user-defined area. 16 Analog HD channels

Up to 16 Analog HD cameras can be connected, capturing even the finest details such as faces and license plates with a resolution of up to 2592 x 1944p (TVI) or 1920 x 1080p (AHD/CVI).

8 IP channels

Additionally, 8 IP cameras, each with up to 4 MP, can be connected to the recorder via Ethernet to capture the surroundings in cinema quality at up to 2592 x 1520 pixels via the network.

Up to 16 TB of storage

Two internal hard drives with a capacity of up to 16TB can be installed. This storage capacity handles even the most demanding time-based tasks while keeping maintenance requirements to a minimum.

4K HDMI port

With the built-in 4K HDMI port, you can use the BHR-4116C with high-resolution 4K monitors and televisions. Thanks to the high resolution, you can keep an eye on even more live feeds simultaneously.

5MP resolution - So that nothing remains hidden from you

The BHR-4116C is capable of recording video in 5MP resolution on all 16 channels simultaneously and playing it back over the network. With this high resolution, you can zoom in on the smallest details and recognize fine features even in large crowds.

RAID2 – Maximum data security

Double is safer: RAID2 mirrors the files from one hard drive to the other in your recorder. This means all files are available on both hard drives simultaneously, keeping you on the safe side in the event of a hardware failure.

RAID is therefore the ultimate protection for your sensitive files and the best safeguard against data loss. Even the best hard drive can eventually malfunction, especially in professional operations where the load is high and time is short. With RAID2, you are on the safe side, as you always have a second backup copy available. An indispensable feature for both professionals and private users.

Motion detection

Save storage space and have the cameras record only when motion is detected. The integrated software recognizes movement and automatically starts a recording.

Internet connection without port forwarding or router configuration

The P2P (Peer-to-Peer) function allows you to access all network-enabled cameras and recorders from Balter without needing to forward ports or use paid DynDNS providers. Simply scan a QR code on the device or enter the P2P number manually into the app or CMS, and you will have access to your video surveillance system in seconds.

Audio support

Thanks to 16 audio inputs, an additional microphone can be connected for each camera. This adds a new dimension to events, ensuring that important information lost in purely visual recordings is preserved.

Receive notifications while on the go when your system detects an event. With the email function, you can receive an email including an image of the event on your smartphone if desired, allowing you to take further steps immediately if necessary.
